The Bannister High Performance open house is winding down. This is the last weekend for you to come out and see what everyone is talking about. Tours are available or you can just wander through the house although I highly recommend the tours
We are a bit overwhelmed as literally thousands of you have come out to see what “green” really is. Probably the 100 year old reclaimed floors, the 1100 ft of old fashion porches with rocking chairs, and rainwater system have been the most popular.
Some of our other features you will see:
- 2385 sq ft circa 1900’s looking new home with a Hardie exterior
- Solar hot water system
- KitchenAid Energy Star appliances
- Recycled glass countertops
- Conditioned attic (and you can walk around and look at the spray foam insulation)
- Water wise landscape with a reclaimed brick patio.
- Cooling with just 1 ¾ tons of air conditioning?????
